A slow-moving ant which is becoming a great nuisance because of increased slab-on-grade construction. Works through cracks in slabs to enter houses. May occur in multiple story buildings on upper floors. Colonies large. Drives out other ants in area. Can bit and sting but not nearly as aggressive or painful as fire ants. |
